Biskit and Friends

Or – Sconce and Devon Park
 
 
 
Today Mrs W had a squeezing joint appointment (RA) at the Newark hospital so I took Biskit to the “Sconce and Devon Park” just down the road from the hospital.
 
The sconce is the earthwork fortification at the middle of the park, and apparently ‘Devon’ is the wildlife sanctuary which we have yet to explore (or find).
 
The view from the sconce towards Boundary Road is at extra.   The angel looking shadow is me in the middle, and the shadow cast by the top of the earthworks.  Biskit is enjoying the view from my left.
 
The collage of Biskit by the cannon sculpture and Biskit with new friend just had to be the blip.  The cannon and Biskit first feature five years ago, with more bits about the park.
 
Biskit’s little friend (puppy dog Willow) was very nervous of him when they first met, but we met again on our return to the car and she ran out to greet him – “my new friend”.
