I get these ideas some times.
The new bit of boarder I am working on, previous Blip ,used to be a vegetable bed, called The Graveyard. It got its name from the picket fence around it and the white plant markers inside, both making look like a graveyard in an old style Western movie.
The first part of the conversion to a flower bed was the removal of the fence, taken to the back corner of the garden that is populated with many things that have outlived their usefulness but might come in handy one day. (Junk yard)
Then the trees were taken down and suddenly the junk yard corner, instead of being dark and tatty and hidden, was light and airy and a terrible mess. I could see the possibility of making it into a new growing area now the trees had stopped blocking the light, it would look good with a picket fence around it. Well it just so happens that..................
Unfortunately the picket fence took quite a battering from the tree men and would have needed a lot of TLC before it could be used. So I took off all the uprights that had not already been detached and carefully stacked them in the land just outside our fence. Seeing them together made me realise how rotten most of them are so they might never be resurrected as a new fence. But at least they are tidy.
Now I have to do something the rest of the things "that have outlived their usefulness but might come in handy one day"
