Pancake*

I love it when traditions are upheld. There seems to be a very strong sense of community in Waltham Abbey. Well done to the stalwarts who organised the pancake race in Sun Street today. It's no mean feat arranging an event these days with all the constraints to consider. 

I enjoyed the races for the adults best as pancakes were actually tossed. Nice to see the pre-school children taking part and enjoying themselves. (Extras) The course was by a nursery, some children were watching the fun from the windows.

I made a sort of pancake/frittata for my birds with some ancient eggs and bird seed. They haven't touched it. :(
