Cracking A Sunflower Seed Can Take Some Effort!

We were not needed to watch our grandson today which worked out well for me after yesterday's doctor visit.  I just put the bird seed buffet out on the deck rail and waited.  Didn't have many takers today, but I can almost always count on the male Cardinal to stop by and sure enough, he dropped in.  I watched him as he grabbed and worked on a single Sunflower seed, which resulted in the creation of this collage.
