And it rained

We woke to rain, and it has rained most of the day, what a relief that is for this area and others both north and south of here.  42 mm, it is clearing now but we are happy.
A comparison.....yesterday we were 29deg, today the massive high of 12deg.  So cold we even lit our fire.
I took this through the window, the background is our paddock…..a lazy photographer today.

Hawkes Bay update - 346 people are still uncontactable down from 1000 yesterday, thanks to the  communication channels, power and transport routes being slowly restored.  Nothing more being said regards deaths.

I used the indoor day editing and sorting......have put my frozen flowers into Flickr.
