High tide at Mersehead . The path to the beach was flooded in parts which made the walk interesting. we saw a large flock of lapwings and heard their distinctive call. A beautiful sound. In the fields of the reserve thousands if barnacle geese were grazing. We spotted one white goose amongst them ! I’m in the extra.
In the evening we went to the recycling centre as I had cleared out the linen cupboard.
My son Laurence is on holiday in Munich for the week seeing his grandfather John and his wife Karin. It’s Karin’s 80th tomorrow! I had a chat with them all in the evening.
