Early daffs

Blipmeet at the Botanics. 

Walked over to meet @Ridgeback13 and @Winsford for the recurring Third Tuesday morning wander. Went up through the rock garden, finding early daffodils. My parents' garden had great drifts of these wild daffodils, though February does seem early for them to be out. Lots of snowdrops in their different varieties, some with a smell of honey; crocuses, and early rhododendrons blazing pink. (Pictures in @Ridgeback13's blip) 

Crossed over to the big hedge and the vegetable gardens, then circled around to the West gate for coffee and pancakes. (in @Winsford's blip). 
Back towards the East gate where there was a big tree being cut  into huge planks (extra, and also in @Ridgeback's blip ).
