Moisture at last

It's been very dry for a while but a few spots of rain last week, once, but today we had some proper rain very early morning and during the night.
It brightened up and then suddenly went very dark and the heavens opened with very heavy rain, I thought. Looking out of the window I could see it was hailstones.
