Best fish restaurant I know

Madeira regulars will recognise this shot. The Doca da Cavacas, the blue and white restaurant, is magnificent.

It’s allegedly the place for a magical sunset shot.
It’s totally perfect with sunshine and shimmering blue skies.
(It’s just on the number 2 bus route.)

And it’s marvellous on a cloudy day too.

The day after the Shrove Tuesday parade and people are back to work. Delivery drivers everywhere.

I wasn’t cruel enough to photograph the guy with the sack truck, heavily laden with supplies as he trundled down to the Doca…..
