Branching out

It was a miserable morning so we trotted over to MK, where we both made small purchases, including books.

When we were in Cornwall last year we walked around Frenchman’s Creek on the Helford, and never having read the book, I bought a copy.  I found a book for JJ called “The Girls Who Stepped Out of Line”, about women who changed the course of World War II.  They’ll both be added to our holiday reading pile.

I braved the chill to nip over the back to photograph the catkins again.
