Froncysyllte Aqueduct

Friends invited us to join them in their narrow boat Amethyst and our trip included travelling both ways across the World Heritage Site of Froncysllte Aqueduct. It's an amazing structure and it's like flying in a boat!

I'd jumped off the slow moving craft to get this blip which gives a sense of the height (and lack of any safety railings!) All in all a great day out, though the weather was cool and duller than expected.
