A hybrid narcissus raised long ago. It's a perfect miniature, about four inches high, the trumpet will gradually fade to a creamy colour as the flower ages, this one opened just a day or two ago.
A moment grabbed in the greenhouse, breakfast in hand. I was soon off to pottery where I put glaze on my next two creations, a soap dish and the first of a number of plant pot holders. I'll hopefully share the before and after firing pictures here soon.
An afternoon trip to Dolgellau where Jamie had an appointment which went well. Home to a phone call with a social worker in Birmingham where they are catching up on the backlog of cases due for a review. All very straightforward thankfully. I cooked chicken and bacon pie for tea and this evening Ruth and I will discuss the architects plans for her adaptations after they arrived by email. Otherwise, a quiet night in split between home and Jamie's.
