Primula.

We had one of our periodic visits to a garden centre today.  What a change a few short weeks makes.  Last time we were there there was no colour apart from the pots of Snowdrops, today a sea of vivid colour from masses of Primula of various varieties.

For reasons best known to itself the Canon threw a hissy fit and wouldn't perform as it should.  I suspect the contacts need cleaning.  Thankfully modern phones perform well. Not only do they perform well mine did things I a) didn't know it could and b0 certainly don't know how to make it do them!  It seems this shot is an HDR, well that's what the phone says.

Every time I see a Primula I remember a meeting we had with a blipper who owns a nursery (plants not kids).  He said "I'll tell you how to make money with Primulas........                        Don't grow them!"  It would seem the effort and cost of growing them did not merit what retailers were prepared to pay for them.
