Busy Day

Finally had some sun in Cornwall! No beach but a good day in the garden.

We were up too late to have a cooked breakfast before swimming lessons. While everyone was swimming I started in the garden mowing the lawn. On their return we finished the lawn and had our breakfast barbecued for lunch. My fancy new barbecue has a hot plate thingy, so we had sausages, bacon, hash browns, mushrooms and eggs all off the barbecue - the beans were warmed on the hob in the kitchen!

Now fully fuelled the afternoon was spent trimming a lalandai hedge at the bottom of the garden. While we were doing this Bella cooked pizza for tea which was also eaten outside. We cleared up, put the Redster to bed and had five cuddled on a sofa watching Skyfall.
