Capers

Thought I'd have some with my lunch today but I couldn't get the lid off. It seems to be a regular problem with these. The jars are filled to the brim and the lids are on as if they're welded! I tried all ways to get the lid to move and had to admit defeat. I did some contortionist moves in my efforts but they didn't work.
Got Terry to open it when he came home so it's good to go next time!
Terry's hip seems to be worse again as his foot keeps going numb now, so I'm glad he has the appointment tomorrow. I looked the surgeon up and he is down as a foot and ankle specialist, not hips! However when i looked at his op stats he has done a fair few hips but twice as many knees and is not listed as part of the Hip and Knee Replacement team! 
He obviously knows his stuff though and does a lot of lower limb trauma surgery.
