When the sparks fly

Someone must have reversed into the steel lamppost opposite our house because it was leaning at a crazy angle this morning. Or maybe it just had metal fatigue. Either way the solution was to topple it and cut it into three pieces with an angle grinder. 

I was similarly tired today. But had the afternoon off (a swap with Monday morning). Spent some time narrating a recording about my mother’s dementia for a future podcast although this left me feeling a little sad.

So no sparks flying with me today. Rather the opposite …
