Snapped

Couldn't resist a bunch of multi-coloured tulips when I called in to the shop yesterday. Unfortunately the stems on these two had snapped, and they were too short to put into the vase with the rest of the tulips. Just right in the 'bud vase' though!

A frustrating day spent mostly on admin to do with the house purchase. Sigh! Some documents had to be completed and sent through an online 'portal'. Read through all the bumph sent by the solicitor yesterday, in an attempt to discover how to access said portal, and eventually phoned her. Didn't I email a link, she said. Nope. Link eventually arrived, but the promised text message with the access code to the portal didn't. Turns out the access code text was activated by clicking the 'Start' button on the link!
Next instruction - before you start, "make sure your original Government issued identification document" is at hand. Phoned solicitor again to enquire what it is. Your driving licence or passport apparently.

What's wrong with plain English for goodness sake?! Anyway, eventually completed all the stuff required on the portal. Need to make a list of all the other paperwork required, but it will have to wait until tomorrow...
