Meeting the In-Laws

Absolutely superb dinner tonight at our son's prospective in-laws. Her Dad did the cooking - that's him in the kitchen. And yes, Felicity has a twin sister. Good to just spend a bit of relaxed time together.

Earlier in the day, Mike and I went to the Ash Wednesday service at Holy Trinity, our nearest Anglican church. Excellent service, led by the lady vicar, just disappearing in the extra.

And, in case you'd like something to follow during Lent, really recommend this project, which has music, poetry, art and scripture for each day. I followed their Advent one, and loved it.

Gratefuls:
- some time to just chill today, and buy myself some gloves at last; it's gone cold!
