La Fortelaza

How could we resist? Of course we took a detour to go up it and the views were fab. It made for a long day, over the high point of La Gomera later on at 1487m with great view over to Mt Teide (extra). Followed by a bus onto San Sebastián and an ‘interesting’ labyrinth up the layers of streets to our goal - arriving at dusk to the Parador with a fab view down over the town and harbour. Our room for the next two nights is sheer luxury.
