Sunset in Blackhall

Today I start pruning the espaliered apple trees. Late in the day, but it’s still cold, so hopefully they’ll thrive.

Dave phones to say that he’s fixed the mixer! I go back into Edinburgh to collect the device and then head out to Blackhall to buy a second hand router. I arrive early, so take a walk around suburbia, finally reaching the edge of Corstorphine Hill.

Heavy traffic getting round to the bypass, but then smooth sailing to Earlston and cheesy pasta.
