Foiled Again

One of the Direct Elimination rounds in the girls' foil competition at the British Youth Championships. The Saltires in the background mark out the Scots' corner of the English Institute for Sport for the weekend.

The girls move so quickly the camera can't keep up and their foils are a blur, but the lights show this was a strike for the Scottish fencer against the girl with the England team's bling on her breeches. Off target though. Curses, foiled again!
