Small Domestic Interior

It's been one job after another today, with a pause for a hobble on the moor in the late evening sunshine, so blipping has taken a backseat.  Thankfully NannaK's idea of blipping small domestic interiors came to my rescue.  These are the shelves in the room where we 'work'.  At present Tony is spending a lot of time down there as he is controlling one of the days at the Easter international and has been backwards and forwards to the Lake District, roaming the fells and checking the planners' courses.

It's only when you blip a corner like this that you get to thinking, when did I last dust it?  Are there things on there which need to go?  You won't be able to see it on my blip but there is an orienteering control on the picture above the shelves.  It's called 'Between Knolls' and was painted some years ago by an orienteer and we bought a print out of some money left to me by Grandad Joe.

No antiques on display unsurprisingly, but there is the American flag and Texan cap given to Tony when he did the Mont Blanc round in the company of a whole host of Texan law enforcers.

Probably the most special thing on show is the duo of watercolours of the sea and shore which daughter J (pinkdragen) did for a Tony birthday when she was a teenager.

The bookshelves are mainly crime thrillers.  Euan's bubbles are waiting there for his next visit, but those files need to go!
