Cuteness Overload

I opened the curtains this morning and thought there must be another dead frog in the pond judging by the oily scum on the surface, but when I went out to check I realised that it had been a dirty bird having a bath. The giveaway was the water splashes on the edge of the pond.

When I came back in the sun was catching the glass cube of the standard lamp in a rather nice way (to my eye anyway) .... so I took a handful of shots (rest of the fingers are here).

Late afternoon we went over to Bags' to look after the monsters while she hits the town with a cousin and a couple of friends. Of course, I was the taxi driver for getting her and cousin to the tram station.
I have no idea how they are getting home -- but I expect I will get a phone call.......

When I got back to the house I started with the 'Cuteness Overload'....... He is only the size of my foot, but he is great fun and can take up some interesting poses ....
The biggest problem is the speed he moves about. I must have binned well over half the pictures I took as 'just to blurry' and still ended up with far too many.
