Daphne

This daphne is in the back garden and it’s underneath next door neighbour’s apple tree. When the large dogs lifted here they used to jump up to eat the apples and they trampled all over the daphne. It’s recovering well.

The perennial wallflowers in the garden didn’t survive the two week cold spell. I’ve ordered some more from EBay.

My colleague who left yesterday had her baby this morning. In some ways it’s great news but I know that she was looking forward to a few days before she became a mum for the second time.
