Scene

The scene on the second day of our meeting typified the vibe at these formal government meetings. A windowless room in the corner of a hotel, plates of mints, various delegates disengaged and needing to catch up with their daily business, and traces of useful discussion that pushed us towards our collective goals. The added dynamic in a Mozambique-Tanzania meeting is the need for simultaneous translation because of the language barrier.
