After we got home yesterday, I baked a cake and took it with me today to a friend's house in Bath, where 3 of us were having lunch.
Michele, whose house we were at, was a fellow student I met when we were doing our Adult Ed teaching qualification. Caroline was our tutor.
It was really lovely to catch up. We started with coffee & cake, and then went for a bracing walk over the race course, which is at the highest point of Bath. Then it was back to Michele's for a delicious and well-earned lunch!
