When you are a kid....

...your parents will embarass you at parties. An inescapable inevitable if ever there was one. Especially when it comes to Eurovision parties, which we experienced for the first time tonight. Mercifully, it involved only occasional glances towards a muted tv. The rest of the time was devoted to marvelling at the costumes (of the contestants and party guests), blethering, laughing and partaking if a refreshment or two.
