Brassed

Bit of a rubbish day….I’d originally thought I’d go over to Glasgow in the morning to nip in and see various people, maybe get my laptop sorted etc etc but in the end left at lunchtime having done a bit of admin and sorted out a great great grandfather on my tree (I think!). I had a not very warm pasty on the train then felt at a loose end. I’d left it too late to arrange a meetup with R or LauraM but had arrived too early for my meeting with NK, so walked fairly slowly over to his place and sat in a cafe for the last half hour before visiting.
He”s recovering from his major foot surgery but he’s not dimmed and still wanting to know everything about what’s going on on the Board. We chatted on for a couple of hours then had a cup of tea with S before I headed over for the brass concert. We ended up with only 3 guests although the concert itself was sold out.
I left at the end of the interval as after my slightly hopeless day I couldn’t face getting home after 11pm. A’s staying over so it was good to get back to a cup of tea and some chat and catch up on the sofa before bed
