Crossing the Arrow River …

….. ….. ….. on the Norman Smith bridge.

If you look top left you’ll see a tiny figure with a red top - she’s up on the track after crossing the bridge. It’s a steep pull up that hill.

I’d met my daughter A. for a lovely al fresco lunch under the umbrellas at The Dishery, before heading up the Arrow Gorge with Missy. A. & I shared some Ceviche, double roasted potatoes and oven baked cauliflower, which was all really delicious!

It’s been a lovely sunny day, not as hot as it has been recently, but no rain. It looks as though Auckland & Hawkes Bay are getting more rain right now and there’s more flooding. It’s unbelievable and so hard on the people who were trying to recover after CycloneGabrielle.
