What a Great Sound!
The weather in Edinburgh was fairly pleasant. Spring is gradually making an appearance.
I dropped Pat off at the Scottish Arts Club and headed down to the Botanical Gardens. Edinburgh road surfaces continue their decline to farm track standard. Road markings gradually disappear. Potholes and broken surfaces everywhere and speed limit signage is completely inconsistent with missing signs everywhere, What fun!
After a Mocha Coffee and Chocolate Brownie in the restaurant I head into the gardens and enjoy walking around photographing a lot of activities being made for Spring. 147 photographs this week.
I am so far behind with The Policies’ gardening.
I also enjoyed the sound of pipe music being played by the piper in the main Blipfoto.
The first two extras show work on the Greenhouses is progressing. I am looking forward to seeing the finished projects.
I picked Pat up again at the Art Club and we headed to IKEA for lunch. Lunch is very good value for the money and the quality of the food is quite acceptable.
We then explored the store and examined some of the new furniture etc.
I did come across a profound statement which is the extra. ‘Children are the most important people in the World’
We then drove to Costco, to fuel up the Cactus and to buy some fuel for ourselves. Costco being a staggering 10x the size of Tesco have managed to continue to supply a very wide range of fruit and vegetables and at prices which are 30-40% below Sainsbury’s.
Thereafter we head home. Apple’s Maps Guidance connected by Car Play is excellent for route planning and for indicating road works and delays.
I use it all the time.
