Las Palmas

We arrived in Gran Canaria this morning. It was warm but cloudy when we disembarked, so we decided to take the Hop-on Hop-off bus 5km to Vergueta, the old colonial town , settled from 1478. Lovely cobbled streets and elegant buildings. This is me in front of the Catedral Santa Ana.
As we wended our way there on the bus we had a good view of the harbour beach and city, so after lunch back on board we set off to explore on foot. The sun was out in force ,25 deg. 15000 steps

No entertainment booked for tonight, but dinner is in the Olive Grove.
