Make Love Not War

A trip to Edinburgh today to meet up with some ex-colleagues. A long leisurely lunch in the Slug and Lettuce, George Street. Super!
On the way back to the tram, spotted a small demonstration on Princes St; protesting against nuclear weapons and the war in Ukraine. Socialist Workers Party and Communist Party flags usually brings out the worst in people, but it was all very peaceful at this point, and they were singing protest songs without being bothered. 
Delighted to see that free speech is still alive and kicking, at least at some levels, in 'progressive' Scotland.
