Sequinned Bug

Another of Gill's fabric art creations - mostly Goldwork.
One of a series of these sent around a group of 13 sewists, each of them making 13 pieces which get passed on each month  to produce books of 13.  Each of the artists will get back a book with one of their own and 12 pieces by others.

So that she will have a record of all of hers, Gill is making two of each of her own.  This one is ready to be mounted into the book.  Being 3D it will have an embroidery ring around it to stop the pages above from squashing it.

Not the easiest thing to photograph with parts of it being very shiny.  I have two daylight lamps in softboxes, one either side of the lens hood. The pink background is pinned to a sheet of white foam-core.
