Dying in beauty

Today my brother and I visited the exhibition "Dying in beauty : The world of Pompeii and Herculaneum" (in 79 AD, the both cities buried when the volcano Vesuvius erupted) in the Drents Museum. The exhibition shows personal items such as tableware & jewellery, as well as the statues, frescoes, mosaics and fountains that decorated the homes and gardens in Pompeii & Herculaneum...

An interesting exhibition. And beautiful items on display. In my blip marble table legs.
