Hollow Stem

I had cut back the giant parsley stems late autumn as they were collapsing over. What's left from the base stems are dried out & hollow.

I'm sure there will be beasties hiding out in the hollow stems & overwintering. Not sure when I should lift them though, so will leave alone for a while.
