Speedy McWorm

This morning was the parents' gardening group time in the school playground. We're allowed to stay while the first years have their playtime now that we have our PVG certificates. Within seconds they were out and asking what we were doing. We did make a start on getting then interested in the plants (or lack thereof so far) and I showed them some worms (poor worms!).

This super speedy specimen was in my own garden though. As its nearly March I've started to tidy up a wee bit, and I accidentally dug this one up.

Made some drop scones (Scottish pancakes) later on with H, traditionally served with butter and jam, although we did have crepes on Tuesday. Any excuse...
