The A26 to Calais…

A good but very monotonous route and it certainly went on.. and on. There was some activity though, lorries with heavy loads, wind turbines going a fair pace, and the blue sky and clouds were a treat.

And so we are home again. It’s been a gift of a week and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed it. The journey from Dover to Thurrock to feeder coaches to home, though long and traffic ridden, won’t detract from the holiday.

We will now need to warm up the house. I think it’s been colder here than in Germany. And there we had sun.
