Another 'reely' nice day...

Another lovely sunny day out, not that I seen much of it of course, what with being stuck inside, getting things prepared for the new kitchen. The hardest part about today was running a cable for the new oven to the fuse box - our current cooker is all gas, whereas the new one is gas hob and electric oven, so we've had to rip up the lino, cut holes in the hardboard, lift up floorboards and drill through walls (underneath floorboards) to get it in. I can see why people pay folk to do this for them!
You can see the state of the wall in the background (to the right) - all of the tiles are off the wall, and a channel has been cut out for the cable to be embedded in - all of the worktops & appliances are now thoroughly coated in a thick layer of dust.

Still, there are a few cold beers in the fridge, and now that everything is tidied up for the night, I'm just chilling out, listening to some Buena Vista Social Club and relaxing!
