Three steps to heaven

What a wonderful fun evening of excellent entertainment courtesy of Showaddywaddy performing at Chelmsford Civic Theatre.  The packed audience was 'of a certain age' which suited me and bro just perfectly in our front of house seats (thank you Gareth for this lovely treat) and absolutely everyone have a great evening, including the band !  Their professionalism and skill in playing all those familiar songs was an absolute joy and I think I had a grin on my face the entire time. The concert is part of their 'Fiftieth Anniversary Tour" although it has to be said that apart from the drummer Romeo Challenger, who is an original member of the band, 'Showaddywaddy' as a group is, after 50 years, rather like 'Trigger's Broom' but who cares, the songs and sounds were the same :)  

Interestingly, nothing was said about forbidding photography or recording, and although people did take pictures surreptitiously, it was never intrusive and it was so nice to be able to take mementos of this lovely evening.
