Purple Crocus

I walked to the pharmacy this morning to collect our prescriptions; it was colder than I thought and I wished I had taken my coat.
 
I almost caught up with all the paperwork this morning before some of our family members arrived. I spent some of the afternoon, watching the birds in our newly, almost completely, finished border.
 
Today’s picture is of some purple crocus flowers that have appeared in the lawn. There are also a lot of snowdrops growing in the grass in the orchard, which we have not planted. I think they have been dug up from the borders and replanted by the squirrels.
 
The temperature at noon today was six degrees Celsius.
