Greenan Shore
This morning we went to Greenan Shore, a few miles south west of Ayr, with the 16th century Greenan Castle above. The weather was perfect, still, calm, with a bit of warmth in the sunshine. We had a lovely long walk along the beach and back, very quiet.
Before heading home we popped into Rozelle House, Museum and Galleries, had a lovely bowl of Mulligitawny soup with toasted cheese then wandered round the various exhibits including Alexander Goudie’s series of 54 paintings of Robert Burns ‘Tam o’ Shanter’, one of which is in the first extra.
