Saturday Snacking
Have you ever heard of Joy Snacks? • Me either until I read this Washington Post article. Richard Sima, a neuroscientist, came up with this phrase, saying “for the little moments of delight you experience throughout the day. By savoring small bites of bliss you can transform an otherwise mundane moment into something joyful” • Some examples: that first sip of coffee in the morning, lunch with a friend, walking the dog, calling your Mom • Sima added “nature is one powerful source of joy snacks” • One of my favorite joy snacks is bird watching, taking photos of them, and sharing them with you • Did you do any snacking today? • Have a joyful and peaceful weekend!
