Loch Arklet

We had a lovely drive today to the Trossachs, and my photo shows Loch Arklet, a feeder reservoir for Loch Katrine which supplies the City of Glasgow with its water. 

The weather was Scotland at its best, stunning sunshine which showed off the hills and lochs so well.  We passed four lochs today, Loch Ard, Loch Chon, Loch Arklet and Loch Katrine.  Had a lovely lunch at Loch Katrine, and a good walk afterwards.  

On the way home I shopped at Abefoyle for a gift for a friend with a birthday next week, and was lucky to get just what I wanted.
