Ever hopeful

An unexpected invitation to have a glass (or two) of wine after a dog walk at Newbattle this afternoon meant a change to our dinner plans. Spaghetti carbonara and homemade garlic bread was quite lovely though. We’ll have tonight’s dinner tomorrow.

I’d bumped into Paz and Ramos yesterday and she mentioned they might be free for a walk today so I was really pleased when she messaged this afternoon. The boys had a great time running through the woods, and in Ramos’ case on the golf course! We had such a lovely chat she then invited me for a glass of wine when we got back.
A lovely way to spend Saturday early evening.

Phin mooched around whilst I was cooking and was rewarded with a little bit of cooked spaghetti. I know I’m a soft touch.
