How to go nuts

1) Snap pictures flying over Alps at 30,000 feet.
2) Try to identify mountains in photo using google maps and photos taken from the earth’s surface.
3) Insanity probability increases if snapper has only vague idea of snap location - as in near-ish Mont Blanc massif (from previous flight knowledge) looking east from 30,000 ft flying at 600mph.
4) Ensure photo is out of focus because of speed of flight and icing on window.
5) Flick back between snap and alpine images not knowing direction from which said images were taken.

This might be the western face of the Weisshorn catching the last of the sun. It is to the north of the Matterhorn.

Whatever it is it was a fine sight poking up through the almost universal cloud cover.

The Weisshorn is 14,783 ft tall.

It was the one consolation of the long ass-numbing crowded noisy Ryanair flight from Pisa to Edinburgh.
