Break Time

Did some very slow work this morning.
This afternoon Lydia and I met Sian and her aunt and uncle at Cardiff Castle. The girls and I hadn't been before so it was lovely.
Sian's relatives are wonderful. It's so nice to immediately feel comfortable in the company of strangers and to just spend a lovely afternoon together.

My parents came up to visit me this evening and to take me for dinner. We drove just outside the city and sat in a small, homely pub eating too much and chatting. I always forget how much I miss them when I'm away from home.
Didn't want to let them leave this evening, and was desperate to jump in the car with them and go back home.
