Setting up and eventually testing an ancient Durst EST500 power unit for the lamp in an enlarger. Seems to be working., but will have to await feedback from when it's properly reassembled and tested at Inverness Darkroom. A capacitor that cost about ten pence was the culprit that had been blowing fuses in the power unit for several months. It hadn't failed in an obvious manner, like more modern types tend to. Judging by the look of most of the electronic components, the enlarger is over 40 years old.
At 250Watts, that lamp is rather bright. Rigged up a salvaged fan to blow cooling air over it for the short test.
