A chilly walk!

As my two brothers and I were together this weekend, and we now have all the necessary info at last, we took the opportunity to sit down with a computer this morning and do the on-line probate application following my Dad's death last September. So that took care of the morning (with the requisite coffee break of course!).

After lunch we decided to brave the rather bitter northeast wind and have a walk along the promenade at Whitley Bay (one of granddog Oona's favourite places before she & her humans emigrated to Canada last summer). It certainly "blew the cobwebs away" - although of course by Toronto standards it was quite mild, and we did have a break for tea and scones at Valerie's Tearoom in the "Spanish City".

This gave me the opportunity to take this late afternoon shot of St Mary's Lighthouse showing the lively surf around it. As usual it looks best large.
