Summertime Funtime.

Yesterday I left the house FOR ENJOYMENT. I cooked dinner last night and we had a friend over for dinner. She brought homemade creme brulee which was simply divine.

Today I drove Sian to a job interview and took so much pleasure in sitting in the car, surrounded by greenery, reading a trashy mag and dozing to the sounds of the birds chirping.

When we arrived home I sat at my desk and, for the first time in forever, I wrote. It was short and simple but I enjoyed writing it *so* much. Have a look at my blog here.

This afternoon the three of us went to the pub for chips, Pimm's and dessert. And board games. The sun shone. It was heavenly.
