Any ideas?
Think its a butterfly or maybe its a moth, it's small and has blueish and orange tips to its wings when open?? Haven't got time to get my book out just at the moment though. Perhaps someone could advise, please?
Went to the pond to see how Swan #2 is doing. She's still sitting tight and her husband is being most protective, seeing off all and sundry, but not me, thank goodness!! I spent a lovely hour pottering about and saw a Heron right in the middle of the weir - damn, he saw me too, and flew off, but I did get lots of lovely shots of the wild flowers, blossom etc, the Canada Geese being chased off by Cob Swan, himself (no, not Mr. T, the swan) doing 'bottoms up' and taking bits of weed and other delicacies to his wife -
Marriage/partnership, wonderful institutions - full of give 'n' take. I do a large share of the 'take' bit but today I'm having to forego this beautiful sunny day for a trip to the Grand Theatre in Wolverhampton to see (listen to) the Grimethorpe Colliery Band. Brass Bands aren't really my thing, but hey its live music and T wanted to go, so fair's, fair!! I'll probably enjoy it though.
